The Polakoff Foundation
The Samuel R. and Denise F. Polakoff Foundation, Ltd. (The Polakoff Foundation)
was started in 2006 to assist in the fight against glaucoma.
The Polakoff Foundation concentrates its fundraising efforts to assist those who can pursue breakthrough
research in the quest for a glaucoma cure. The foundation also provides assistance to organizations offering
services related to the fight against glaucoma. These services include, but may not be limited to, free regional
screenings in the Baltimore metro area as well as educational material to aid those who may be newly
diagnosed or at-risk.

Sets Sight on Glaucoma
Silent Auction to benefit Glaucoma Research Foundation Spring 2006
TBBGL employees raised $8,308.00 through their annual spring Silent Auction and
TBBGL matched the first $7,500. for an impressive total donation of $15,808.00.
Glaucoma Research Foundation is a national non-profit organization dedicated
to finding a cure for glaucoma, the leading cause of preventable blindness.
Easter Baskets to benefit Access of York Spring 2006
TBBGL employees filled fifty Easter baskets with toys and candy to support the
children of Access of York.
Bringing Holiday Cheer to Access of York Winter 2005
TBBGL employees filled stockings with toys and gifts bringing joy to the people
served through Access of York. They also adopted two families and provided all of their "wish list"
items bringing cheer and good will for the holiday season.
Access of York is a program dedicated to the elimination of domestic violence providing
emergency shelter, supportive care and outreach for adults and children.
