CSR/Customs Entry (1 full-time position, Linthicum MD)
Position reports to Supervisor, Customs Entry.
Primary functions:
To generate entry documents for Customs clearance. To communicate with all necessary parties
accurately and in a timely manner. To follow through to final delivery.
Related activities:
1) Classify commodities using the Harmonized Tariff System.
2) Communicate regularly with team members and clients regarding shipment/entry status and progress.
3) Submit entry documents.
4) Create FDA codes.
5) Communicate with air, ocean, and land carriers.
Requirements:
1) Demonstrated knowledge of CBP.
2) Understanding and application of HTS.
3) Familiarity with Customs entry documentation.
4) Working knowledge of world air and ocean ports.
5) Effective, cooperative, and collegial demeanor.
6) Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining positive attitude, organization of work, and superior customer service.
7) Knowledge of PGA, and ability to recognize commodities that possess PGA applicability.
8) Understanding of INCO terms.
9) Minimum of an intermediate level of computer literacy, to include proficiency in Microsoft Word,
Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer, and the ability to quickly learn and utilize various in-house applications.
CSR/Transportation (1 full-time position, Linthicum MD)
Position reports to Supervisor, Transportation.
Primary functions:
To manage and administer the successful, cost-effective, and timely provision of international
logistics services to include US imports and exports involving air, ocean, and ground transportation
and additional value-add activity. To track, verify, and report regarding status of international
logistics and transportation events. To communicate with all necessary parties accurately and in a
timely manner, following through to final delivery.
Related activities:
1) Gathering, reviewing, and verifying of international transportation related documentation.
2) Constant communication with team members and clients regarding shipment/entry status and progress.
3) Communication with affiliates and agents abroad.
4) Communication with air, ocean, and land carriers.
Requirements:
1) Demonstrated and verifiable experience handling international transportation via air, ocean, and ground.
2) Knowledge of international quote and US entry process.
3) Proficiency in mathematics used in international commerce and trade.
4) Working knowledge of world geography and global air and ocean ports.
5) Effective, cooperative, and collegial demeanor.
6) Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining positive attitude, organization of work, and superior customer service.
7) Understanding of INCO terms.

Solutions Manager (1 full-time position, Linthicum MD)
Primary functions:
To act as a coordinative liaison between sales forces, operations, and customers
towards engaging successful and client-conscious international transportation and
trade services. To provide consultation to both sales people and clients regarding
transportation and supply chain solutions. To design appropriate solutions based on
the problem set, objectives, and strategy presented. To administer and oversee
successful, cost-effective, and timely implementations of international logistics
services, to include US imports and exports involving air, ocean, and ground
transportation, vendor and purchase order management, fulfillment, value-add
activity, solutions consultation, and overall management of international
transportation events. To interact effectively with and monitor performance of a
global network of agents, manage said relationships, and interface regularly with both
agents and internal colleagues regarding monthly financial reconciliation.
Related activities:
1) Ensure productive, efficient, and timely communications between sales team,
operations, providers, client vendors, and clients.
2) Ensure implementation documentation completely and accurately expresses operational needs and client requirements.
3) Manage potential Solutions staff to include ongoing review of and familiarity with
daily activities, annual performance reviews, training and development, etc.
4) Participate in selection and hiring process for new international Solutions staff.
5) Validate quote requests, and provide quotations. Lead the creation of RFP
responses, customer profiles and standard operating procedures for each client.
6) Cultivate and oversee maintenance of both client and global agency relationships.
Requirements:
1) Minimum of six years of verifiable international transportation management sales and/or operations experience exhibiting the successful handling of international logistics including air, ocean, and ground transportation.
2) Demonstrated and verifiable knowledge of entire international shipment process to include procurement, imports, exports, clearance, carrier familiarity, affiliate and agency relationships, etc.
3) Implementation and utilization of technological solutions to administer and manage international trade and transportation events.
4) Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to include high level verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
5) Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, and e-mail protocol.
6) 5+ years of supervisory/managerial experience.
7) Bachelor degree in relevant field strongly preferred.
8) Intercultural and foreign language skills a plus.
9) Ability to travel 15-20%.
Transportation Manager (1 full-time position, Linthicum MD)
Position reports to the Vice President, International Services.
Primary functions:
To administer and oversee successful, cost-effective, and timely client engagements of international logistics
services, to include US imports and exports involving air, ocean, and ground transportation, vendor and purchase
order management, fulfillment, value-add activity, solutions consultation, and overall management of international
transportation events. To manage international transportation team to accomplish group and organizational objectives
including process and efficiency improvements, technology implementations, and staff development. To interact effectively
with and monitor performance of a global network of agents, manage said relationships, and interface regularly with both agents
and internal colleagues regarding monthly financial reconciliation.
