TBB Global Logistics Names New Vice President of Sales

New Freedom, Pa. - Following a nationwide search, Peter Bottino has been named the vice president of sales for TBB Global Logistics (www.tbbgl.com), a 63-year-old, nationally-known, third-party supply chain management firm. In this leadership role, Bottino will manage company-wide marketing and sales efforts that will continue to position and enhance TBB Global Logistics as the industry’s leading supply chain management company serving small and medium-sized businesses. Bottino’s extensive logistics and supply chain knowledge stems from his expertise in business and sales management strategies through his extensive career in the industry.

Prior to joining TBB Global Logistics, Bottino was the chief executive officer of a brokerage agency and consulting firm he founded, where he created strategy and implementation plans for each of his clients. Prior to starting his own firm, Bottino was the northeast regional vice president of Pacer Global Logistics, a $600 million division of Pacer International. Bottino also worked as regional vice president with Velocity Express, where he managed the leading sales team for two consecutive years, overseeing total sales exceeding $250 million. Bottino also held several positions at CSX Intermodal in Jacksonville, Florida, where he served as national sales manager – Premium Service, senior product manager – Temperature Control, and regional terminal manager. He began his career as a dock supervisor, dispatch and sales and an account representative TNT Red Star Express LTL, a regional LTL provider based in Newark, New Jersey.
